Doctoral student in the Educational Leadership and Administration program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a concentration in Higher Education. Azuri is also the Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at UTEP, and is focusing her research on faculty diversity perspectives within institutions of higher education, especially Hispanic-serving. She associates herself with community engaged scholarship principles and practices.
